Join us for our Movie Fundraiser: The Color Purple!

Gather with us for an afternoon of cinematic magic and meaning! Join us for a special early release screening of ‘The Color Purple‘. In this version, directed by Blitz Bazawule, Fantasia Barrino plays Celie in her feature film debut, while Danielle Brooks plays Sofia among a star-studded cast that also includes Taraji P. Henson, Halle Bailey, Louis Gossett Jr., Corey Hawkins, David Alan Grier, Colman Domingo, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, H.E.R., Ciara, Jon Batiste and Deon Cole.

Help us raise funds for the Mary McLeod Bethune Leadership Award.  The Leadership Award is a stipend presented to college bound high school students. Every ticket sold brings us one step closer to empowering the next generation of leaders. So, let’s come together, enjoy this classic film, and support the future leaders of our community.
